For Over 20 Years....               

Flags were given away in hometown parades and yards of homes on the 4th of July.

American Associates staff and Realtors, local church youth groups, AYSO, Band Boosters, Boyscouts, Girlscouts, community baseball and softball leagues and a number of other youth groups and kids from various organizations helped place flags in the yards of community residents. 

Starting the first year with less than 600 flags placed in yards eventually grew into an annual event of distributing 40,000 Flags annually in parades and placed in yards in local communities on 4th of July.

The difficult economic challenges in general and especially within the real estate industry itself, continuing the project became increasing difficult with the dramatically reduced number of active full time Realtors. In 2008 the annually 4th of July Flag giveaway project ceased.  In the future we may reconsider bringing back the Flag project with enough public support.

Over 500,000 Flags Total

American Associates, Inc. Realtors together with Local Business Owners and hundreds of volunteers through out the last 20 years donated over $100,000 and have spent countless hours giving away over 500,000 flags to local residents.

We will always remember the people who year after year made this possible.
